Hello I am Marloes ♡
An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) originally from the Netherlands and currently based in Singapore, where I offer evidence-based breastfeeding and infant feeding support to families locally and worldwide.
I’ve been an adventurer since the age of 18, living in Corsica, Guatemala, Paris and Malaysia, before eventually settling in Singapore in 2014 with my French husband.
A large part of my early career was in brand marketing, supporting businesses with strategy and rebranding. That changed in 2018 with the birth of my son, Olli.
My breastfeeding journey was intense: bleeding nipples, thrush, multiple bouts of mastitis and an abcess with MRSA. Along the way, I met healthcare professionals who meant well but did not always help. From deep, painful breast massage to being advised by a breast surgeon to stop breastfeeding. Many of these experiences could have been avoided.
After days of painful engorgement, I met a lactation masseuse whose gentle touch brought both physical relief and emotional calm. That moment sparked a deep drive to offer mothers the care I wish I had received. It led me to years of study, hands-on clinical training, and ultimately becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

I blend evidence-based breastfeeding support, gentle lactation massage, emotional support and bodywork. My qualifications include:

Over the past five years, I have supported 500+ families with challenges including latch difficulties, mastitis, blocked ducts, milk supply concerns, tongue tie, bottle refusal, pumping challenges, and feeding support for premature babies. My work is hands-on and grounded in current lactation science and clinical experience, while remaining deeply empathetic, something many parents have shared made them feel truly seen and supported.

For me, lactation care has no boundaries. I support families worldwide with breastfeeding and infant feeding, while being based in Singapore, where you can book an in-home lactation consultation.
For families outside Singapore, I offer online lactation consultations, allowing access to professional IBCLC care from wherever you are.
