Hello, I’m Marloes!
Originally from the Netherlands, I’ve been an adventurer since I was 18—living in multiple countries, working everywhere from Corsica to Guatemala, and eventually meeting my French husband in Paris. In 2014, we moved to Singapore, where we spent eight wonderful years before relocating to Amsterdam.
With a passion for brand marketing, I’ve helped numerous companies with rebranding and strategy.. Until everything changed in 2018 with the birth of my son, Olli.
My breastfeeding journey was a rollercoaster—bleeding nipples, thrush, latching issues, engorgement, and multiple bouts of mastitis. Along the way, I met specialists who didn’t always provide the right support—from a lactation consultant using knuckles for massages to a surgeon advising me to stop breastfeeding. I later realised that much of this could have been prevented with the right guidance.
After days of painful engorgement, I finally found a lactation masseuse who worked wonders. Her techniques not only relieved my pain but also helped me feel at peace. That experience sparked a deep passion for lactation care, leading me to study and train extensively and become an IBCLC lactation consultant.
My Experience & Training
I take a hands-on, practical approach to breastfeeding support, blending evidence-based expertise with therapeutic care. My certifications include:

- Traditional Lactation Massage Therapist (Nik’s Bodywork, Singapore)
- Holistic Massage Therapist (International Therapy Examination Board)
- Usui Reiki Practitioner (Level 1 & 2)
- Orthomolecular Nutrition (CIVAS, Netherlands)
- Breastfeeding Counsellor (BMSG, Singapore)
Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting more than 500 families through their breastfeeding journeys. Whether it’s helping with latch, milk supply, tongue-tie concerns, bottle refusal, or pumping difficulties, I love finding tailored solutions that work for each family.
Back in Singapore!
After two years working alongside midwives and IBCLCs in Amsterdam, I’m now back in Singapore and excited to offer my services again.
