Hello, I’m Marloes!

Originally from the Netherlands, I’ve been an adventurer since 18, living in multiple countries and working everywhere from Corsica to Guatemala. I met my French husband in Paris, and in 2014, we moved to Singapore, where we spent eight wonderful years. With a passion for brand marketing, I’ve helped numerous companies with rebranding and strategy.

Everything changed in 2018 with the birth of my son, Olli.

My breastfeeding journey was a rollercoaster filled with challenges—bleeding nipples, thrush, latching issues, engorgement, and recurring mastitis. Along the way, I encountered specialists who didn’t always help, from a lactation consultant using knuckles for massages to a surgeon advising me to stop breastfeeding. I later realised much of this could have been prevented.

After days of severe engorgement, I finally found a lactation masseuse whose massages eased my pain and brought me peace.

Inspired by her, I pursued training in traditional Lactation Massage and earned certifications in ITEC Holistic Massage Therapy, USUI Reiki Practice, and Orthomolecular Nutrition.

Over the next two years, I supported many families through breastfeeding challenges and decided to become an IBCLC Lactation Consultant. I trained as a Breastfeeding Counsellor with Singapore's Breastfeeding Mothers Support Group and completed 700 practice hours under IBCLCs Marieke van Luin and Sanne Koeman in Amsterdam, graduating in June 2024.

My goal is to support women with expert knowledge, advice, and treatments during pregnancy and postpartum.

After working in Amsterdam for the past 2 years, I’ve now returned to Singapore and am excited to offer my services here once again.
