During pregnancy, our body has to work harder than usual, which can lead to more physical discomforts such as stiffness, oedema and tension. Our breast and bodywork treatments are meant to prepare your body and mind for the period around pregnancy.

Besides pregnancy massage & bodywork, we also offer breastfeeding massage. Breastfeeding problems can actually start when our breasts, milk ducts, and nipples block the breastmilk from flowing well. These blockages can already develop during your menstrual cycle before being pregnant. Little pieces of dirt can cause the nipples to be blocked, which can later result in engorgement, reduced or insufficient milk flow and infection (mastitis).
We learned that the risk of breastfeeding problems can be significantly reduced if you massage your breasts with gentle lymphatic drainage techniques from week 36 of pregnancy onwards.
